The P&L and Accounting Engines Technology (PACE) team believes in putting our people and our customers at the centre of what we do. We are a 400-people global, diverse, and award winning team, partnering with our business in investment banking and treasury finance to create propositions and solutions to delight our users through-out the value chain, starting in T+1 Product Control through to the General Ledger from Transaction and Hedge Accounting.
As part of the PACE location strategy, we will be building out our team in Cary from 17 people to 40 people in 2021. The increase in footprint will result in additional 3-4 teams making the total number to 5-6 Feature Teams. To continue to operate an effective and efficient Agile group and to avoid additional costs and delays, we will be hiring additional product owners, taking our total number of POs in Cary to 4.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Lifecycle owner from conception through to value realization. Develop a strategic vision working with the business on what needs to be built, and convey that vision to the development team. Accepting or rejecting features delivered by development teams
Define the features of the product in collaboration with all stakeholders. Manage business stakeholders to ensure transparency in all stages of the SDLC and successful delivery
Work together with the team in breaking down the features to user stories
Prioritizing features of the product using Agile methodologies, in particular the scaled agile framework (SAFe). Adjusting the features and priority dynamically based on user feedback and realignment of business priorities
Keeping customers or users informed of status, demonstrating functionality to users and gathering feedback
Accountable for managing a multi-year product roadmap and vision. Maintain sufficient availability to ensure active engagement with their teams. Understand the cost/return economics of the product to take an economic view when making product decisions
Your Skills and Experience:
Investment banking experience in areas covering Front Office, Finance, Treasury, Risk and Operations areas. Influential product management & product leadership experience, working closely with other product managers/owners, stakeholders, and users to shape the product vision, strategy and roadmap to maximise value for the Bank
Strong servant-leadership experience, instilling confidence to the overall team and being front-runner and example for the whole team
Generation of bank wide target operating models with specific focus on sub-ledger accounting, covering associated design principles, business, conceptual and logical models
Experience of creating front to back flows from initial trade capture through the organisations infrastructure and to the books and records of the Bank
Management level stakeholder engagement, ensuring that flow of work can maximize business value as well as developing professional working relationships with stakeholder groups
How You'll Lead:
Experience managing and facilitating global design authorities with cross-functional membership. Experience managing and implementing large-scale global projects including a proven record of delivering positive finance change projects covering business process and systems improvement
Experience working with large number of teams across multiple locations including Europe, North America, India and Asia
