Overview
For Trust & Agency Services (TAS), we develop modernized a data management platform that powers analytics (AI/ML), data enrichment and event-driven micro services while capturing data lineage and ensuring data quality and data completeness for our business. In this role you'll be working with Confluent Enterprise Kafka components (Schema Registry, ksqlDB), cloud services, and building streaming services.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead solution design and development of application features and identify and improve stability and performance bottlenecks
- Lead and contribute on code reviews and document design decisions, components APIs and create usage examples
- Being a technology and product expert, you will share knowledge via demo sessions
- Ensure quality metrics of the product to meet non-functional requirements
- Work with QA's and BA's on functional and non-functional requirements
- Work with other development teams to aid adoption of platform and best practices
Your Skills and Experience:
- Robust hands-on experience with on Kafka, preferable experience with Confluent
- Strong experience with Kafka components (Connect, Schema Registry, KsqlDB), and fine-tuning of Kafka for optimal production performance
- Expert in Java technologies including Core Java, messaging products (JMS, ActiveMQ), web services, XML, and JSON plus strong experience with web development technologies - ReactJS, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JSP, servlets, Struts & Spring
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
- Experience with Agile software development framework (Scrum)
