Job Title: Java/Big Data Engineer for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Projects

Overview
You will be responsible for managing and improving current installation of anti-money laundering (AML) monitoring and associated tools. You will define standards, testing strategies, and best practices for Deutsche Bank's work to upgrade its AML toolset.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of code and unit tests that meets Deutsche Bank standards, processes, policies, and practices
- Production and deployment of application release notes & software packages between development & system integration testing (SIT) environments
- Development support of SIT & user acceptance testing (UAT) to address incidents and fixes in a timely manner
- Preparation of required handover documentation to support teams and trainings as appropriate
Your Skills and Experience:
- Expert knowledge in Hadoop, Unix, Oracle, Control M, Java, PySpark development
- Prior experience of working in an environment using internally engineered components (database, operating system, etc.)
- Good analytical problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication
- Certification or experience working in Agile methodology
- Accountability
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $85,000 to $140,000.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration
