Core Responsibilities:
  • Financial management validation and control for the US Broker Dealer including regulatory reporting and financial statement reporting
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and making strategic recommendations for process/control modifications and the oversight of their implementation
  • Will maintain relationships with key external stakeholders (regulatory/government bodies, external auditors) as it pertains to legal entities. Ensure that Deutsche Bank remains apprised of regulatory and market expectations
  • Contribute value added and strategic insight to organizational areas within the firm including within Group Finance and other stakeholders throughout the businesses
  • Will maintain relationships with key internal parties (Operations, Business Finance, Financial Reporting) in support of the legal entity and to improve the accuracy and quality of information for regulatory and financial reporting

Skills/Requirements:
  • Experience in a position of increasing responsibility within a Regulatory Reporting (15c3-1, Focus Reporting, SSOI, TIC) function within a Global Investment Bank
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Strong understanding of, and direct experience with Regulatory Reporting
  • Ability to create vision and develop/implement strategy for the same
  • Demonstrated desire to add significant value within a fast-paced environment

Academic requirements:
  • B.S. degree required
  • CPA or MBA preferred but not required
  • Series 27 or Series 99 strongly preferred
