Our Data and Analytics (DNA) group, within Deutsche Bank's Enterprise Data Services (EDS), is working with cutting-edge technology to transform the way we work. We are at an exciting time; expanding our core data enabling capabilities to unleash the value of the Company's data assets to gain competitive advantage in the marketplace and advancing our journey to Cloud Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As an experienced Data Security Architect, you will provide Subject matter expertise for the data security and data protection architecture in accordance with privacy and security standards into the target EDS Domain Architecture.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee architecture to ensure designs are in accordance with privacy and security standards, validate requirements fit within our existing privacy construct, serve as Subject Matter Experts (SME) for our data protection system, and provide security and privacy operational support to the Chief Data Office
  • Responsible for the delivery of high-quality data architectural solutions, including enterprise and line of business architectures, while ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Strategizes and contributes to enterprise level technological initiatives on data governance, management, and usage
  • Conduct full technical discovery, identifying pain points, business, and technical requirements, "as is" and "to be" scenarios in support of cloud migration to GCP

  • In addition to the Professional contributor primary responsibilities shown below, may also have managerial responsivities, such as: recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their professional contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team

Skills You'll Need
  • Extensive work experience in an enterprise technology environment focused on technology compliance, security architecture, proven experience focused on data privacy or data protection
  • Deep understanding of the global data privacy landscape, along with current and upcoming regulations (CCPA/CPRA, CPA, CDPA, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), etc.)
  • Developed approaches to comply with global data protection law through pragmatic approaches in partnering with various stakeholder teams (Governance, Corporate Compliance, IT, etc.) and understanding how to manage and prioritize business needs and risk
  • Knowledge of privacy technology solutions and experience implementing, sustaining, and enhancing such tools through automation (1touch.io, OneTrust, WireWheel, Securiti.ai, BigID, etc.)

Skills That Will Help You Excel
  • Ability to create strong working relationships with diverse stakeholder groups based on mutual trust and respect
  • Extensiveexperience in cross-functional project delivery and driving results through collaboration with others
  • Demonstrated growth in skills and/or leadership throughout career
  • BA/BS in Business, Technology, or related field or an equivalent in education and experience
