Job Description:
DB Global Technology Inc. seeks an Associate, Engineer in Cary, NC to perform analytics to improve accuracy and efficiency of data. Requires a Master's Degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience designing and implementing programs in Scala. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience working within the Hadoop ecosystem to translate complex business requirements into executable code; providing data visualization capabilities to end users to collaboration and computation through Hue, Zeppelin and Jupyter; coordinating Big Data application workflows and batch jobs using Oozie; automating testing of workflows in IBM Business Process Manager; debugging production and non-production issues using Cloudera's Resource Manager; configuring code for production deployment; translating research on distributed caching systems Apache Ignite and Hazelcast into actionable Linux code; and in executing duties, utilizing scripting, Java, Tomcat, Weblogic, Web Development, Maven, Gradle, and Ant. #DNI
