Job Description:
DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to design, develop, and modify software systems. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience developing source code and descriptions for software components in accordance with detailed software requirements specifications, functional design documents, and technical design documents. Prior experience must include at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience verifying developed source code through four-eyes principle review; verifying integrated software components through unit and integrated software testing based on software testing plan; performing release deployment on non-production management controlled environments; capturing build and deployment notes and developing software product deployment and operating instructions; ensuring availability of change items within the definitive software library; facilitating applications maintenance and performing scheduled technical change requests according to release management processes; and in executing duties, utilizing Java, J2EE, Oracle, Scala, middleware, application servers, Hadoop, Spark, CDH, HDFS, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Oozie, Kafka, Flume, Impala, Kerberos, PySpark, Unix, Unix shell scripting, SuperPuTTY, Eclipse, Version One, AutoSys, Control-M, NDM, Python, STFP, Maven, Jenkins, Hortonworks Data Platform, Teradata, Netezza, SQL Server, mainframe, DB2, Business Objects, Cognos, HP Service Manager, and QTP. #DNI
