Marketing Analyst


Purpose:  DentalOne Partners, Inc. (DPI) is one of the nation’s leading Dental Support Organizations, with over 165 practices in 13 states.  The Marketing Analyst will utilize data and analytics to provide insight into marketing strategies and overall business effectiveness.   This position will help design and implement analytical reports to track the performance of the marketing department as well as other key company initiatives.  This position will also support the financial operations and forecast modeling for the department.  This is meant to be a cross functional role with frequent interactions between the marketing, information technology, finance, and accounting teams. 


Essential Functions:


  • Analyze marketing campaigns to identify insights on response rates and tactical ROI
  • Design and implement reports to track company and marketing performance down to the practice level in an executive friendly visualization
  • Act as intermediary between marketing and information technology departments to create clearly defined requirements for data needs
  • Own and maintain marketing metric database with key operational and customer metrics that will feed into marketing mix model
  • Review vendor invoices and support month end process to ensure that expenses are allocated appropriately to practices
  • Support development of presentations for quarterly Board Meetings by providing data and analytical documentation
  • Participate and support the annual marketing planning process





  • Qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, management information systems, finance, accounting, or other business-related or technical major
  • At least 2-4 years of experience performing business analysis and/or creating performance reporting; experience in multi-location industry is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and ability to work with Pivot tables and other advanced excel functions
  • Proficiency in SQL or other relational databases


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to work effectively across organizational and functional boundaries with the ability to build credibility with various internal customers
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines and handle last minute requests
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate skills using query and scripting languages to perform data analysis
  • Ability to acquire and integrate data from multiple data sources



  • Self-starter with organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at any given time
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and drive projects to completion under strict time constraints
  • Exhibits ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Candidate needs to have schedule flexibility to meet demands of projects and deadlines
