Associate Doctor Recruiter

Overview

The Associate Doctor Recruiter will play a key role in the growth and success of the supported dental practices by actively identifying and assessing Dentist candidates to find top clinical talent that will provide superior patient care and service to patients.  Working closely with the Doctor Recruitment Manager and the Doctor Recruiters, your focus will be on strategically driving candidate generation to fill existing positions and to build a pipeline of quality candidates for future positions.  The ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with high efficiency, accuracy and superior customer service skills is crucial.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with the Doctor Recruitment Team and internal hiring managers to understand the position requirements and build out strategic sourcing plans
  • Independently develop and maintain candidate flow for both current and potential growth markets
  • Source candidates through a variety of search resources, including but not limited to social media, job boards, internal ATS, internet searches, internal and external referrals, etc.
  • Educate and excite candidates about the opportunities with Dental One supported practices
  • Present qualified clinical candidates to the Doctor Recruiters for further consideration
  • Assist the Doctor Recruiters with obtaining all necessary credentials and employment applications from Doctor candidates
  • Utilize web-based applicant tracking system to maintain candidate data and reporting
  • Recruit Doctors across various markets for full-time, part-time and independent contractor positions
  • Coordinate Locum Tenens, as necessary
  • Schedule meetings and interviews, as appropriate
  • Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed
  • May also manage end to end recruiting process for requisitions, based on manager discretion

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Team-oriented with proven customer service skills and a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
  • Technologically savvy with excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and ATS experience preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently and drive them to closure with minimal supervision
  • Flexible, able to change direction quickly
  • Solid sense of accountability, work ethic and acute personal judgment
  • Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization
  • Professional and adaptable demeanor; enjoy the personal interaction with potential candidates and team members

 

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of sourcing and/or recruitment experience required
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ATS – iCIMS is a plus

 

Work Environment/Conditions:

  • Travel as needed for training and to perform job functions, up to 20%
  • Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time
  • Remote/virtual environment
