How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

Reservations Finance is looking for a Specialist who will be responsible for financial analysis and forecasting of labor (including Delta and contracted labor) and Capital Expenditures for the Reservations division. This position will report to the GM of Reservations Finance.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Serve as an engaged and trusted partner with operations management and develop relationships to maximize results and influence outcomes.
  • Make recommendations and prepare presentations to Reservations Finance leadership regarding financial and strategic activities.
  • Prepare monthly financial updates, rolling forecast development, and ongoing financial analysis in support of business initiatives.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the business and related strategic objectives, reporting requirements, and financial needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, data strategy development and leveraging new tools and technology.
  • Offers solutions to streamline and automate processes.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Must have strong finance and business acumen as well as analytical skills to manage complex processes.
  • Must be a fast learner, detail oriented, and able to perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to engage the business in a manner that enhances productivity and encourages operational transformation toward optimal cost efficiency.
  • Must possess excellent written, presentation, and verbal skills, with the ability to produce concise, relevant, strategically driven documents and presentations.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, or business-related field or MBA.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion, SAP Analysis for Office, Tableau, and Microsoft Office.
