Windows Administrator for Deltek Technologies

The Deltek Technology Analyst will be responsible for the Technical Support of Deltek Federal environments. This will include Engineering and Operational activities. The Deltek Technology Analyst will partner with Data Owners, Product Owners & Project Architects to understand the business requirements and then propose best in class solutions, design & implement solutions based on these requirements. The Deltek Technology Analyst must adhere to policies & standards whilst implementing the solution adhering to industry best practices. The Deltek Technology Analyst shall work and consult with various project teams to ensure that Deltek Systems are integrated into various applications & comprehensively tested to ensure system robustness, acceptable performance, and reliability. The Deltek Technology Analyst creates and contributes to policies, technical procedures, technical documentation, awareness, and cross team training.

The Deltek Technology Analyst works continually to develop advanced skills and strives to foster broader organizational maturity in these areas.

Work you’ll do

  • Technical Support of SAP systems, Federal Systems (Deltek, TM1, Integrify, etc.), and related environments.
  • Provide direct support to development teams and QA teams.
  • Provide Engineering and project participation
  • Create standards and best practices following ITIL guidelines, capacity planning, and integration with Deloitte technical support teams in multiple geographical locations.
  • Responsible for establishing and executing business recoveries and procedures.
  • Able to implement processes to continue to improve operational stability.
  • Work with vendors to build technology roadmaps, evaluate products or solutions and recommend direction based on annual ITS objectives.
  • Support of infrastructure platforms (e.g. AIX servers, Intel servers, networking, etc.)

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Information Systems preferred or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
  • 3+ years’ experience with several of the following: Deltek Administration, Cognos/TM1 Administration, Windows 2008/2012 Administration, WebLogic, SQL, or Oracle.
  • 3+ years of Infrastructure experience
  • Ability to occasionally work non-standard shifts and/or on-call to support the requirements of the organization.
  • US Citizenship
  • Outstanding attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines;
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, oral, written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are required for the timely resolution of complex customer issues.
  • Ability to monitor and report on multiple deliverables with a focus on meeting / exceeding deadlines.

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to interact effectively with various levels of management and staff in both technical and business roles.
  • Experience related to support of infrastructure platforms (e.g. Windows servers, networking, etc.)
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, TM1, Integrify, and Data Services.
  • Experience with WebLogic.
  • Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to guide & lead various project teams on a project implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are required for the timely resolution of complex customer issues.
  • Ability to monitor and report on multiple deliverables with a focus on meeting/exceeding deadlines.
  • Ability to articulate Engineering policies, procedures and guidelines to all levels of staff.
  • Ability to innovate and to learn new skills as required in supporting a continually changing technical environment.
  • Provide expertise when consulted as a subject matter expert.
