Technical Application Architect - Senior Consultant

Work you’ll do
As a Senior Consultant in our Technical Application Architecture practice you will bring considerable expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients.
- Be the lead person to interface between the clients and our Deloitte teams
- Serve as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients’ business needs.
- Developing & reviewing system requirements, designing the solution, redefining the business, presenting the prototype, and leading the testing of our custom technology solutions
- Assisting clients with application architecture design, assessment and optimization including definition, documentation and implementation of new application architectures
- Review and evaluation of key attributes of existing application architectures
- Recommend and validate improvements to existing Application Architectures

Senior Consultants in the Application Architecture practice are required to have:
- Knowledge of Web-based enterprise systems with experience that includes integrating multiple applications using a service-oriented architecture
- At least 2 years of experience with large technology engagements
- Minimum of 2 full system development life cycle implementations
- A willingness to travel 80 – 100% of the time or be resident in Harrisburg, PA
- At least 8 years of architectural analysis and design experience associated with a large, complex, and automated systems that integrate multiple applications using a service-oriented architecture
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Windows Forms or Microsoft WPF (version 4.6 preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in the MVVM design pattern
- At least 5 years of experience in C#
- At least 5 years of experience in Microsoft WCF (version 4.6 preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience with the NET TCP, REST and SOAP bindings
- At least 2 years of experience with third party UI controls (Telerik is preferred)
- A least 2 years of experience on Web API
- At least 2 years of experience using JSON Web Token (JWT) security
- At least 2 years of experience in AngularJS 1
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Oracle (v. 11g is preferred)
- Experience defining specifications and development guidelines
- Leading teams through IT Strategy initiatives
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Eagerness to mentor junior staff
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using accepted methodologies and project management skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree in an IEEE recognized Engineering discipline
- An advanced degree in the area of specialization is a plus
