What you'll do
As a Consultant in our Tax Management Consulting (TMC) – Tax Data Management group, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for assisting clients with the day-to-day implementation and delivery of the technical aspects of our SharePoint solutions and technology consultation projects, including the configuration and technical implementation of our SharePoint solutions. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code for the internet, intranet, and associated products and technologies.
- Implement, deploy, and troubleshoot Web Services, REST, OData, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Contribute and manage the design and implementation of .Net/SharePoint applications.
- Implement applications using Angular.Js, Bootstrap, LESS, HTML5, jQuery, and SQL server 2008/2012.
- Participate in defining overall solution architectures for enterprise integration, automation, and business process management engagements.
- Provide technical solution support for Request for Proposal (RFP) and proposal efforts.

The Tax Data Management & Analytics (TDMA) team deploys and configures our Custom Tax Portal Application at our clients' sites. TDMA offers a full solution of tax-based process and technology services (including product implementations) to enhance a corporate tax department's ability to deliver value-added contributions to its organizations. The scope of services includes the design and implementation of multiple advanced analytics technology and data management solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
- 3 or more years of relevant hands-on implementation experience in the following:
- SharePoint 2013 App Model
- SQL Server 2012
- Visual Studio
- SharePoint Designer
- SharePoint Object Model
- SharePoint Business Connectivity Services
- C #
Experience with MVC framework
A strong desire and keep technical skills current as new technologies emerge
Experience in business intelligence using SQL 2008/2012 and higher
Experience building reports using third-party report building tools
Experience resolving issues related to IIS, DB, or OS configurations related to Windows application deployment involving the above components
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent consulting skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
Available to travel 70%
Experience deploying and configuring servers and services in Azure and SP Online environments
Experience with writing complex SQL Queries
A relevant advanced degreeTax industry experiencePrior Big 4 experience
