What you'll do

As an Account Strategic Marketing Planner (SMP) at Deloitte Services LP, a subsidiary of the Deloitte US firms, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and drive prioritization of all marketing activities for designated account team cohorts within the Energy & Resources industry marketing channel
  • Establish a strong rapport and ongoing working relationship with Client Account Managers and Client Relationship Executives aligned to assigned account team cohorts
  • Collaborate with the Client Account Managers and Client Relationship Executives assigned to priority accounts in delivering Deloitte insights that align to the teams' areas of focus for growth and revenue
  • Industrialize and oversee the ongoing production of an eminence distribution plan to support energy and resources account-based marketing campaigns
  • Develop and execute a program that provides insight into strategic assets aligned to account-based marketing campaigns
  • Bring innovative thinking and marketing practices to all marketing activities

The team

Account SMPs serve as trusted marketing and communications advisors to Deloitte's client teams. SMPs are part of the Marketing & Communications team at Deloitte. As a member of the Energy & Resources marketing team, you'll report to the Energy & Resources Industry Marketing Leader.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong project management, organization and communications (both oral and written) skills
  • Experience working in or with financial services and/or professional services organizations
  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing communications strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results
  • High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities; strong problem-solving skills aligned with flexibility
  • Ability to manage multiple, and often complex, priorities and clients with varying degrees of involvement
  • Ability to make connections and work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment
  • Strong persuasive skills; able to gain consensus through influence
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment
  • Passion to interpret data to illustrate the success of a marketing campaign geared toward strategic clients

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing strategy and planning
  • Undergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related business field; Master's degree a plus
  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
