Consultant:

  • Consultants function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions.
  • Consultants gain exposure to multiple industries while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by Deloitte Consulting LLP.
  • Consultants perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels.
  • Consultants will assist in proposal development, as requested
  • Minimum of 2 years consulting and/or industry experience is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Ability to travel 100% required.

In addition, successful Consultants will also have the following preferred skills:

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

Sr. Consultant:

  • Senior Consultants will synthesize overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs.
  • Senior Consultants will participate in setting engagement objectives and scope; develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between work streams and identify changes in scope.
  • Senior Consultants will also design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement contract and client needs and strive to improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years consulting/and or industry experience or an MBA with 3+ years relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Ability to travel 100% required.

In addition, successful Senior Consultants will also have the following preferred skills:

  • Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Eagerness to mentor junior staff.
  • An advanced degree is preferred.

Manager:

  • Managers will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies.
  • Manager level responsibilities include: providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement.
  • Managers implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
  • Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.
  • Managers can lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.
  • A minimum of 6 years consulting and/or industry experience is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Ability to travel 100% required.

In addition, successful Managers will also have the following preferred skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Eagerness to mentor junior staff.

Sr. Manager:

Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:

  • Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk
  • Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
  • Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
  • Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point- of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals
  • People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices
  • A minimum of 8 years consulting and/or industry experience is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Ability to travel 100% required.

In addition, successful Senior Managers will also have the following preferred skills:

  • Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements.
