Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Sr. Consultant, Technology, AIM, Information Delivery in Cincinnati, Ohio and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Design, develop, and implement systems and processes to capture, integrate and distribute information in an enterprise. Function as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions and help create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. Execute development of data warehouse components ranging from dimensional model design through ETL development and BI solution implementation. Design complex ETL programs using IBM DataStage and Informatica to perform data integration and conversion from legacy systems to web based solutions. Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and requirements gathering sessions to articulate functional requirements and technical design specifications for data conversion. Develop data warehouse components ranging from dimensional model design through ETL development and BI solution implementation. Write queries, packages, functions and procedures using PL/SQL to resolve defects and analyze underlying data for inconsistencies and integrity issues. Perform QA testing on developed artifacts and User Acceptance Testing and resolve critical defects raised during testing. Automate processes and schedule ETL jobs in shell scripts using UNIX, Autosys and TWS. Build technical designs to create source to target mappings for all ETL integration points using Informatica Designer, Repository Manager, Workflow Manager, and Workflow Monitor. Design and implement end-to-end ETL solutions using Informatica, DataStage, Oracle, and DB2. Gather business requirements for large BI and analytics technology implementations and create technical design specifications using standards and templates. Analyze data systems, design governance standards and processes for enterprise warehouses and solutions to profile customer data utilizing user interfaces, as well as provide reports on data quality issues and remediation using database concepts and SQL.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or related field.
  • Two years of experience providing IT consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have two years of experience with:
  • designing complex ETL programs using IBM Datastage and Informatica to perform data integration and conversion from legacy systems to web based solutions;
  • conducting Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and requirements gathering sessions to articulate functional requirements and technical design specifications for data conversion;
  • developing data warehouse components ranging from dimensional model design through ETL development and implementing BI solutions;
