Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Manager, Human Capital, Human Resource Transformation in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Work with leadership to deliver small, medium and large engagements that drive strategic HR organizational change for clients. Participate in the selection, design, and implementation of technology-enabled business and HR solutions for clients. Consult with clients to increase the effectiveness and reduce the costs of HR service delivery through improved processes and technologies. Support pre-sales activities, solution design, and project planning while defining and developing project tasks. Participate in requirements gathering sessions. Develop and employ project work plans, status reports, issue management, and value tracking. Evaluate, communicate and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions. Analyze and develop system performance indicators. Identify changes in scope of work with client feedback. Review quality of deliverables and ensure on-time and accurate delivery. Maintain project tracking tools to handle workflow customizations, data capture, and field configurations. Prepare current state versus future state class diagrams (UML methodology) during Workday Management System implementation. Transform and deliver files in XML and CSV format using XSLT for integration solutions using Workday Studio. Identify suitable Workday related tools and techniques to meet client business and user requirements. Facilitate definition of requirements, use cases, product management, and functional specifications. Support full life cycle of technology implementation process, including, requirements gathering, integration build and design, packaging and installation, validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Investigate root causes to complex client business challenges and develop technical solutions. Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology. Identifying suitable Workday/HRMS related tools and techniques to meet client business and user requirements. Oversee functional Workday/HRMS configuration design documentation representing system principles and articulating the system design to the client. Develop the testing strategy for large scale programs and ensure requirements traceability throughout the system development lifecycle. Manage end-to-end testing for various business processes, integrations, security access and other configurations. Perform systems programming by utilizing XML, XSLT and Web Services to format data according to client and third party vendor requirements. Extract historical HR data in standardized iLoad and EIB format to clean the data and assess compatibility, and load it to Workday in order to perform quality control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Management Information Systems, Computer Information System, Business Administration or related field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible post baccalaureate experience providing HR transformation consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have five years experience with:
  • Facilitating definition of requirements, use cases, product management, and functional specifications;
  • Participating in full life cycle of technology implementation process, including, requirements gathering, integration build and design, packaging and installation, validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues;
  • Investigating root causes to complex client business challenges and developing technical solutions;
  • Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology;
  • Identifying suitable Workday/HRMS related tools and techniques to meet client business and user requirements;
  • Producing functional Workday/HRMS configuration design documentation representing system principles and articulating the system design to the client;
  • Developing the testing strategy for large scale programs and ensure requirements traceability throughout the system development lifecycle;
  • Performing end-to-end testing for various business processes, integrations, security access and other configurations;
  • Performing systems programming by utilizing XML, XSLT and Web Services to format data according to client and third party vendor requirements; and
  • Extracting historical HR data in standardized iLoad and EIB format to clean the data and assess compatibility, and load it to Workday/HRMS in order to perform quality control.
