Solution Manager

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Manager in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Facilitate definition of requirements, use cases, product management, and functional specifications along with validation and testing services for clients. Provide strategic advice and high quality results to clients' business operations and systems. Lead testing teams and implement client testing Centers of Excellence. Manage day to day interactions with executive client leadership and sponsors. Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large clients. Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design and flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams for large deals; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Guide the team in utilizing HP ALM and JAMA to write test plans for testing projects including, integration testing, system integration testing, parallel testing, interfaces testing, and non-UI based testing, including API/SOA testing, database testing, migration testing, compatibility testing, localization and internationalization testing. Oversee the preparation of testing deliverables, including test plan, requirement traceability matrix, test scripts, defect triaging and test closure reports, using Microsoft Test Manager and HP - Application Lifecycle Management Tool. Lead the execution and testing of legacy systems, packaged software, Electronic Data Interchange, data warehouse and custom developed functionalities in Oracle, Java, SQL, NET, Linux, and Mainframe environments. Set up testing organization and define process maturity assessments as per CMMi/TMMi standards to improve and measure success rates for productivity efficiency and SLA adherence. Track and report SLAs and KPIs in a managed testing engagement. Direct the building of automation frameworks for automation projects utilizing automation testing tools including Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Quick Test Professional (QTP), Business Process Testing (BPT), Quality Center (QC), and Application life Cycle Management (ALM). Oversee the utilization of HP LoadRunner tool for performance and stress testing, including managing script planning and development, creating test scripts, monitoring system performance using diagnostic server, and setting up VUGen/Load Generator and testing. Monitor defect tracking using HP ALM and JIRA tools to triage and resolve defects. Lead the team in performing requirements traceability and impact analysis using HP ALM and JAMA tools to execute regression testing. Oversee the preparation and tracking of effort estimation for software testing using Function Point Estimation, Work Break Down Structure, and project planning methodologies. Integrate Geographical Information Systems (GIS) within clients' business applications, including CRM, Case Management Systems and Billing applications to provide location based services for distress calls to assist government and public sector agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Sciences (any), MIS, CIS or a related field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience providing IT consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have five years of experience with:
  • Utilizing HP ALM and JAMA to write test plans for testing projects including, integration testing, system integration testing, parallel testing, interfaces testing, and non-UI based testing, including API/SOA testing, database testing, migration testing, compatibility testing, localization and internationalization testing;
  • Preparing testing deliverables, including test plan, requirement traceability matrix, test scripts, defect triaging, and test closure reports, using Microsoft Test Manager and HP - Application Lifecycle Management Tool;
  • Executing and testing legacy systems, packaged software, Electronic Data Interchange, data warehouse and custom developed functionalities in Oracle, Java, SQL, NET, Linux, and Mainframe environments;

  • Utilizing HP LoadRunner tool for performance and stress testing, including managing script planning and development, creating test scripts, monitoring system performance using diagnostic server, and setting up VUGen/Load Generator and testing; and
  • Performing requirements traceability and impact analysis using HP ALM and JAMA tools to execute regression testing.
  • In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in a stated field plus three years of experience.
  • 80% travel required.
