Solution Engineer

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Engineer in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Assist in providing technology-enabled solutions to clients. Implement practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Utilize HCM tools including Workday and SAP to evaluate and coordinate technical and functional impacts of application configurations. Function as an integrator between business needs and technology-enabled solutions. Help create technology-enabled solutions to meet clients' business needs. Assist with defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping and testing custom technology solutions. Perform full system development life cycle implementations. Under supervision, perform business process analysis, mapping, and design. With guidance, develop cloud-based applications, including SalesForce.com, VEEVA CRM, VEEVA Vault and Exact Target. Assist in transferring and migrating legacy system data on UNIX, SUN Solaris and AS400 into Cloud, SQL Server, Oracle Database, DB2 and My SQL by utilizing SQL Loaders, SSIS packages, XML and XSLT. As a part of the team, configure web applications using WebServices, Libraries and API's. Help perform system programming by utilizing Java, JavaScript and WebServices to format data according to client and third-party vendor requirements. Create scripts and perform testing for UI and database by writing stored procedures, packages, views and triggers utilizing TOAD, SQL Loaders, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle, Visual Studio and HP Quality Center. Under supervision, perform data extraction, transformation and loading using ETL packages, SSIS, SQL scripts, WebServices, API's, PL/SQL and Oracle server databases. Assist in enhancing IT applications on SalesForce.com using VEEVA CRM, VEEVA Vault, WebServices and SharePoint. With guidance, write and execute test scripts, creating testing reports, and identifying and logging defects using HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, including HP Quality Center. Facilitate knowledge transfer between technical teams and long-term client support teams by delivering training sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, CIS, MIS, or a related field.
  • One year of experience providing consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have one year of experience with:
  • Developing cloud-based applications, including SalesForce.com, VEEVA CRM, VEEVA Vault and Exact Target;
  • Transferring and migrating legacy system data on UNIX, SUN Solaris and AS400 into Cloud, SQL Server, Oracle Database, DB2 and My SQL by utilizing SQL Loaders, SSIS packages, XML and XSLT;
