Senior Solution Engineer, Technology, Analytics and Information Management

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Solution Engineer, Technology, Analytics & Information Management in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Support the design, development, and implementation of systems and processes to capture, integrate and distribute information in an enterprise. Function as integrator between Business Analysts, Data Modelers, QA leaders and IT team and help deliver end to end technical architecture and solutions to meet clients' business needs. Gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-up opportunities. As a part of high performance team support the design, development, and testing of technical solutions based on Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) architecture. Assist the team with development and implementation of the ETL programs utilizing various Informatica tools, including Informatica Power Center, Informatica Power Center Express and Informatica Data Quality. Support the design of ETL processes and preparing the codes in order to meet client's program specifications as well as requirements. Aid with maintaining all the relevant sources of data, including cleansing, formatting, configuring, normalizing and storage based on the user requirements. Responsible for profiling, data analysis, conversing of business requirements, and creating mapping documents to outline data flow and physical data model for the Warehouse databases Utilize Oracle, Teradata, MS SQL Server, MySQL, DB2 and Flat files to extract and load data, and to review test logs and Unit test cases and evaluate the requirements, address and resolve the issues associated with testing. Develop solutions to extract data from external sources, including relational data bases and flat files, utilizing Linux scripts and REST API. Support the execution of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects, including creating, updating and delivering the project technical documentations. Support client communication and coordination with the team on project deliverable activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Engineering (any), Management Information Systems (MIS) or a related field.
  • Two years of experience providing data management services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have two years of experience in:

o Assisting the team with development and implementation of the ETL programs utilizing various Informatica tools, including Informatica Power Center, Informatica Power Center Express and Informatica Data Quality;

o Supporting the design of ETL processes and preparing the codes in order to meet client's program specifications as well as requirements;

o Aiding with maintaining all the relevant sources of data, including cleansing, formatting, configuring, normalizing and storage based on the user requirements;
