Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- Innovating solutions to work around system limitations
- Adapting to new technologies and gain a functional understanding
- Understanding control procedures and disciplines
- Working with version control and Jira or similar ticketing system
- Problem solving with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error
- Delivering high quality work and adapting to new challenges, as an individual or as part of a team
From our centers, we work with Deloitte consultants todesign, develop and build solutions tohelp clients reimagine, reshape and rewire the competitive fabric of entireindustries. Our centers house a multitudeof specialists, ranging from systems designers, architects and integrators, tocreative digital experts, to cyber risk and human capital professionals. Allwork together on diverse projects from advanced preconfigured solutions andmethodologies, to brand-building and campaign management. The US Delivery Center supports acollaborative team culture where we work and live close to home withlimited travel.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to translate technical software solutions to non-technical clients
- 7+ years of IT experience in software development in developing web applications and client/server applications
- Ability to consult and direct on clients' software/network infrastructure including: servers, databases, applications, security, firewalls, and all other components when providing direction on software solutions
- Expertise in design and development of user interfaces using .Net Web Forms
- Ability to lead and mentor teams to provide technical deliverables in accordance with SDLC methodologies such as SCRUM and Agile
- Plan, track, manage and lead small teams on short term sprints, and long term software deployments
- 7+ years of Java or .Net development experience and the ability to work with both
- 7+ years of experience with MS SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, or any equivalent database background
- Deep development experience with Java, J2EE, Struts or .NET, WPF, WCF, XML, HTML, Tomcat, JBOSS
- Must be willing to live and work in the Orlando, FL area
- Previous experience leading teams in software development using tools such as: Automation Anywhere (AA) , Blue Prism (BP), UiPath, Workfusion, or Pega
- Experience with supporting both JAVA and .NET Enterprise environments
- Ability to lead teams to provide high performance code reviews and troubleshoot all software development issues
- Ability to multi-task and lead development teams to ensure timely software development deliverables
