Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst in Princeton, NJ.

Work You'll Do

Responsible for requirements gathering, designing, developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using development tools, including IBM Rational Functional Tester (RFT), HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Selenium. Develop test scripts for automation testing utilizing Java, C# and Visual Basic Script programming languages. Contribute to requirements gathering by designing object-oriented documents to formalize automation test procedures for Oracle and SQL Servers. Coordinate with software developers to effectively process each quality assurance phase in the software development life cycle. Implement automated tests scenarios in order to execute tests, report outcomes and compare results with earlier test runs. Design and develop automation test scenarios such as end-to-end engagement life cycle scenarios, smoke test scenarios, WP scenarios and SYNC scenarios based on a framework in Agile and Cloud based systems. Participate in defining automation test objectives, strategies and standards. Guide the team through utilization of framework, adherence to quality standards, implementation of change management system in the automation suites, and preparation of user friendly documentation for the scripts. Apply open source log4j logging framework to scale up test automation practices and provide enhancements in all automation projects. Create user interfaces, including varies phases in back-end testing, followed by implementing the test with SQL code. Understand the client's business needs and problem statements of existing application environments and propose solutions by installing RFT, OTP, Selenium Jars, or Java Runtime Environment (JRE) for software developers and testers to assist with the automated testing process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Computer Information Systems or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in Automation testing technology for a professional consulting firm or an information technology company.
  • Must have two years of experience with:
  • Identifying business issues and requirements within existing environments of software applications; designing and implementing keyword driven test automation frameworks using development tools, including IBM RFT, HP UFT and Selenium;
  • Developing test scripts for automation testing utilizing Java, C# and Visual Basic Script programming languages;
  • Conducting requirements gathering and designing object-oriented documents to formalize automation test procedures for Oracle and SQL Servers;
  • Implementing automated tests scenarios in order to execute tests, report outcomes and compare results with earlier test runs;
  • Designing and developing automation test scenarios such as end-to-end engagement life cycle scenarios, smoke test scenarios, WP scenarios and SYNC scenarios based on a framework in Agile and Cloud-based systems;
  • Defining automation test objectives, strategies and standards;
  • Applying open source log4j logging framework to scale up test automation practices and provide enhancements in all automation projects;

  • Updating automation frameworks and establishing new automation processes.
  • Employer will accept three years of university level studies plus two years of experience in meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement.
