Senior Manager, Reporting & Analysis Innovation

Key Role Description

This role is part of the Reporting & Analysis ("R&A") COE. The R&A COE supports the US firm with all aspects of management reporting and analysis. The CoE is made up of analytical, financial, and reporting experts that align reporting with the strategic priorities of our businesses and enabling area groups and business /EA leaders. The team is responsible for designing and driving the future of management reporting for all levels of firm leadership. With a focus on innovation, we continuously enhance our deliverables and are uniquely positioned to identify and implement best practices across the firm.

This leadership role on our Innovation team owns and drives end to end solutions and analysis that provide our clients with the consumable information and insight they need to drive better make business decisions and assist to mitigate challenges.

Job Responsibilities

Service Delivery and Project Management

  • Develop reporting vision and strategy for management reporting for the all businesses and enabling area groups of the Firm
  • Create strong demand for our services by providing the information, analysis and insight that support business decisions
  • Anticipate future business needs and emphasize a forward looking view in our output and deliverables
  • Proactively drive initiatives and efforts to increase both the Finance and business leaders understanding of business performance and opportunities
  • Use business, reporting, and analytical expertise to lead complex special projects and new recurring deliverables for leadership
  • Monitor reporting leading practices for solution insights, direction and methods
  • Translate client information requirements into leading practice report design and visualization, overseeing all aspects of the project development lifecycle from kick-off, client review and acceptance, to post-deployment
  • Continuously innovate to improve our CoE processes, tools, templates, and systems

Relationship Management

  • Develop trust based relationships with our business partners to positively influence the direction of the firm as the new reporting point of contact for the business partners
  • Be the experts that others call upon for advice, guidance, counsel and insight
  • Engage R&A Development, Operations and other CoE teams, as needed, to develop and deliver optimal innovative solutions
  • Foster a collaborative culture based on teamwork, talent development , mentoring, and coaching

Education / Experience Requirements

  • MBA preferred, with excellent computer skills with 8+ years working experience
  • High performing individual with demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
  • Problem solving skills

  • Innovative solutions development
  • Business process improvement
  • Analysis and analytical techniques
  • Team management

Capability and Skill Requirements

  • Demonstrated capabilities in:
  • Proven experience with information management and relational data concepts

Technology or Other Requirements

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • SME Knowledge of the Firms Financial Systems (SAP, HANA AO, BPC/Essbase), and working knowledge of Tableau /or other analysis software
