Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Technology, Systems Integration, Program, Management, Functional, and Test in Pittsburgh, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Work with a project team to create custom software solutions that help the business to solve issues, expand market share, improve operations, and expand. Under supervision, provide project planning, designing approach, scope, timelines and perform business process analysis. Help to maintain documentation on database designs, functionalities, and system specifications. Review process design and recommend improvements. Provide strategic advice and high quality results to client's business operations and systems. Serve as a liaison between developers, architects and designers, and with internal business partners. Perform all phases of Software Development Lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deploying and supporting complex systems in a post-production environment. Gather and document business requirements and ensure traceability of those requirements throughout the system development lifecycle. Work directly with business users during system design phase, including building models, creating roadmaps and developing templates, checklists and guidelines using MS Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Collect data from various sources prepare and analyze the data using Pentaho Business Analytics, Microsoft Office, SQL, and Tableau functionality before, during and post-production roll-out stages. Work with development team on preparation and execution of test scenarios, test cases, performing gap analysis and compliance documentation, including verification/validation plan and summary reports. With guidance, conduct training sessions with the client in order to introduce them to the system's technical functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Technology Innovation Management, Computer Science, CIS, MIS or related field.
  • Two years of experience providing IT consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have two years of experience with:
  • Performing all phases of Software Development Lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deploying and supporting complex systems in a post-production environment;
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements and ensure traceability of those requirements throughout the system development lifecycle;
  • Working with business users during system design phase, including building models, creating roadmaps and developing templates, checklists and guidelines using MS Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint;
  • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports;
