Senior Business Technology Architect

We are seeking a Business Systems Architect. The role is a senior architect role within the organization and will engage with leadership, Business Stakeholders, Engagement Leads, TDMs, Developers, Operations and Architects, in a cross functional environment to ensure that our technology architecture is aligned with our business strategy and that the functional and non-functional requirements of the services we build and acquire are fit for purpose and meet the needs of IT and our business. Will work with all architecture domains and business functions to build consensus on architecture decisions that balance the need for fast delivery with long term goals and operational sustainability.
Uses a deep understanding of business valuation, business process and business strategy delivery to ensure that the value defined at inception is delivered and engages with Operations and Service Management to ensure any transformation strategies are optimized for value delivery. The role requires knowledge of the latest technology, media and telecommunications industry trends, especially around cloud and cloud hosting.
Other key elements of the job include:
- Creation of documentation of formal requirements, use cases, user stories and models that map business strategy, customer demands, and technology delivery
- Implementing Business Architecture and analysis delivery standards and deliverables, peer training, and the continuous enhancement of Business Architecture and Analysis capabilities within GTS.
- Active contribution to standards defined for Community of Practice's and project leaders.
- Timely and accurate escalation of risk and issues for the production and maintenance of applicable project metrics and status reports within a project.
