Work You'll Do

The role of the Senior Conflicts Analyst is to act as the liaison between analysts and management. The Senior Conflicts Analyst will be responsible for sharing their technical knowledge with the analysts and growing their leadership skills through closer interaction with management by way of the review process, participation in meetings and various projects.

Specifically, daily activities will include:

  • Guiding analysts and answering technical questions related to various risk scenarios, for both specialty and general conflict checks (domestic and international).
  • Performing senior reviews on specialty and domestic conflict checks, while gaining the relevant experience with the end goal of becoming full reviewers.
  • Performing analyst checks, depending on the needs of the department, taking into account holidays and mandatory overtime calls.
  • Actively participating in Consistency/Project meetings with Department Management.
  • Working on and/or leading special projects; coordinating with sorter to understand team availability.
  • Enrolling analysts' participation in various projects that may be assigned to them.
  • Continuous participation in streamlining the Conflicts processes.
  • Providing feedback to Management on analysts' performance and training needs.
  • Daily consultations with managers on rating consistency.
  • Training new hires in adherence with departmental policies and procedures.

On a broader scale, Strategic & Reputational Risk Management protects, preserves, and enhances our reputation by helping our senior executives identify, assess, manage, and respond to top-tier risks and crises or incidents that could undermine the firm's brand and reputation.

Required

  • Knowledgeable of the regulatory bodies (SEC/AICPA/PCAOB) and their role in the accounting profession
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills, prior exposure to international business correspondence a plus
  • Solid knowledge of world's geography
  • Self-directed, adaptable to changes in the work environment/rules/directions
  • Independent critical thinking, excellent problem solving skills.
  • Flexibility during peak periods to work overtime.
  • Being a proactive and active team player.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong organizational, time management and coordination skills
  • Professional work experience relevant to this role
