Work You’ll Do

Responsible for developing healthcare and life sciences analytics and business intelligence solutions for healthcare industry clients including Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). Build, customize, and maintain infrastructure, architecture and security for analytics and business intelligence solutions, and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client level. Plan and estimate delivery time lines for product functionalities and enhancements using JIRA issue and project management tool. Create data model designs and perform data modeling for custom solutions using SAP Power Designer and MS Visio. Coordinate cross-functional development effort and project management across teams, including troubleshooting application issues and data flows. Design ETL flows to integrate client data from disparate sources using SQL, Pentaho Kettle, and Informatica, and write batch scripts to automate ETL process and streamline data operations of healthcare IT products. Lead the performance of healthcare data analysis by writing SSIS packages using SQL Server and complex SQL queries, and the performance of clinical ontologies mapping and ETL development to load data into I2b2. Responsible for leading product delivery teams during the development cycle. Serve as subject matter expert for the development of analytic solutions using patient EMRs and claims information for hospital systems, and for the design and development of patient (MPI) and provider (CPM) matching algorithms for product implementations. Lead content curation team to develop quality measures and analytical metrics for value based care applications. Responsible for developing healthcare quality measures including ACO, PQRS, and HEDIS by writing measure logic in PL/SQL and T-SQL. Responsible for ongoing introduction of data governance/data quality methodology for identifying anomalies in source data. Lead junior team members in writing complex PL/SQL scripts to audit data quality in SQL Server and Oracle, and building data quality reports using Excel and SAP Business Objects. Plan and execute the data integration process during product implementation and data conversion phase. Design and develop data quality engine for use across products. Implement best practices for data warehousing products and data integration solutions using Agile methodologies. Work with teams to perform product development activities including prototyping, testing, documentation, deployment and maintenance by following scrum methodologies. Coordinate product releases, and work with product managers to define release scope. Provide technical guidance and best practices for client developers and junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), MIS, CIS, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience developing healthcare and life sciences analytics and business intelligence solutions for healthcare industry clients.
  • Must have five years of experience with:
  • Developing analytic solutions using patient EMRs and claims information for hospital systems, and designing and developing patient (MPI) and provider (CPM) matching algorithms for product implementations;
  • Performing healthcare data analysis by writing SSIS packages using SQL Server and complex SQL queries, and performing clinical ontologies mapping and ETL development to load data into I2b2;
  • Planning and estimating delivery time lines for product functionalities and enhancements using JIRA issue and project management tool, and performing data modeling for custom solutions using SAP Power Designer and MS Visio;
