Work you'll do

As a SAP SuccessFactors Functional Senior Consultant, you will use your knowledge and experience to help your clients solve the most pressing issues facing their HR function today by:

  • Perform project tasks independently, and may direct the efforts of others
  • Lead and manage teams or work streams to contribute to the overall project success
  • Maintaining a hands-on role to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are always accurate
  • Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues
  • Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
  • Provides coaching to junior staff
  • Contributes to new business proposals and proposal development
  • Manages own personal and professional development; seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experiences
  • Lead the configuration of the SuccessFactors module(s) you are certified to implement

The HR Transformation Team

Deploying HR and Talent Management cloud-based technology in the Federal government is part art and part science. The science comes from world-class tools and proven methodologies, but the art can only come from experience. The experience to know what HR and Talent processes are heavily influenced by Federal rules and regulations, how the functionality of SuccessFactors modules can be configured to meet these Federal requirements, what are the mandatory data integration points with the government processes and systems to create the right Federal employee experience and how they can be deployed in a complex government agency to drive adoption and, most importantly, transformation change. Working with Deloitte allows you to leverage our know-how to optimize the value of your investment in SuccessFactors training certification and your previous project experience to create the capacity you need to implement highly effective cloud-based HR and Talent Management services to Federal clients. HR Technology Strategy & Solutions Team - SAP SuccessFactors

Our Federal SAP SuccessFactors practice is a team that government clients simply want to do business with because of the way we work. We differentiate ourselves in how we execute the business of consulting demonstrated by our sales and proposal process, thoughtful investment in proposed solutions, efficient and accurate pricing and staffing models, leveraging of SuccessFactors professional certification training and development of our valued internal training.   • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 3+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience configuring and implementing one or more SAP SuccessFactors/HCM modules
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
  • Verifiable status of being a Certified Professional level for one or more SAP SuccessFactors/HCM modules or minimally have only Delta training to complete for one SuccessFactors/HCM module
  • HR or Talent Management business process mapping experience
  • Experience leading teams and driving their work to ensure project timelines are met
  • Experience managing work streams, including monitoring for project issues and sound judgment for escalation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products such as PowerPoint
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role
  • Up to 20% travel required


  • Minimum of 2 Full Life-cycle implementations of SAP SuccessFactors module(s), from planning to configuration through go-live
  • Implementation experience using an agile implementation methodology
  • Experience implementing SuccessFactors in Federal government agency environments
