Job Title: Salesforce Front End Developer
Location: Open / Any US Office
o Interactdirectly with technical leads and project managers to understand functional andtechnical requirements and the underlying business drivers and issues. Anticipate technical constraints andlimitations.
o Abilityto understand and translate business requirements into an effective Salesforcesolution that promotes high performance and an optimal user experience
o Usebusiness requirements to define UI and/or backend designs that optimizeconfiguration and out-of-the-box Salesforce tools; ability to define customizedsolutions when necessary to deliver on business requirements
o Buildsolutions that promote data integrity and apply with project standards
o Understandimplications of configuration and customization decisions and explain risks,technology costs, and benefits
o Abilityto support all phases of the development lifecycle including analysis,development, and testing.
o Supportdevelopment and on-going maintenance for web and mobile applications
o Abilityto collaborate virtually and effectively across teams and time zones
o Stayabreast of changes in Salesforce cloud, mobile and Force.com landscapes, andprovide guidance around implications to project.
o Exhibithigh level of professional flexibility.
o Manageon-going support processes which include system upgrades, release planning, andchange control processes.
o Supporttechnical design sessions
o Completework efforts on schedule, within budget and with minimal defects.
o Escalateissues and risks proactively to technical lead(s) and develop mitigatingactions.
o Provideinsight in managing system configuration specifications, training manuals, andother internal system documentation
o Partner withBusiness System Analysts (BSA) to analyze business and functional requirementswhich have an impact on the Salesforce solution.
o Workwith US and offshore teams to identify new and creative opportunities toleverage Salesforce.com as well as to support additional business processes orfunctions.
o Monitor dailyprogress against project delivery plans and status of deliverables.
o Bachelor's degreein Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational orprofessional experience and/or qualifications.
o 4+ years ofin-depth technical experience and a minimum of 1 year of recent hands-on configuration,customization and development of Sales and Service cloud, mobile and Force.com solutions.
o Salesforce certifiedpreferred but not mandatory.
o Worked onprojects involving large CRM data volumes and batch integrations
o Applied bestpractices of design & programming and building solutions for scale,performance and reusability.
o Experienceworking with end-users and development teams to document and clarifyrequirements and manage scope of defined features and functions during projectlifecycle.
o Experience in successfullyimplementing quality guidelines, standards and procedures.
o Creative - ableto think outside the box; uses knowledge gained through prior experience,education, and training to resolve issues and remove project barriers in a timelymanner.
o Strong written andverbal communication skills. Strongpresentation skills a plus.
o Ability forminimal travel, up to 10%.
