Within Deloitte's Risk Advisory, the Project Risk Consulting team gives organisations the comfort of independent evaluation of projects, and provide insights for their successful execution. Deloitte will help prevent project control failures by reviewing throughout a projects life cycle, and by using accelerators such as predictive analytics to detect underlying systemic risks. This boosts business confidence and results in better project outcomes. We help organisations navigate projects that matter with confidence.
This role in our Project Risk team helps identify underlying project risks, seeks to prevent project failures before they occur, empowers business change process management and enhances performance outcomes.
You will be a high performing IT project risk and assurance professional, seeking a new challenge in your career. Alternatively, you are a project manager, or experienced business analyst, with a passion for successful delivering projects or an IT audit/ IT risk professional looking to assess deeper into IT projects.
You must bring a practical knowledge of project management and IT risk management practices / developments and experience in undertaking reviews and assessments. Experience with government agencies and/ or private sector organisations is desirable..
You will have appropriate tertiary qualifications (CISA, Prince 2, PMBOK, Agile or equivalents) with experience successfully leading IT project or IT audit/IT risk advisory assignments and mentoring team members within professional services or a corporate ASX 100 environment. We will expect strong report writing and communication skills, a highly organised approach and proven project management.
About the role
This challenging role will see you:
- Work as a member of our project risk consulting team, providing delivery of engagements
- Consistently display extraordinary commitment to client service
- Promote and enforce compliance with mandated professional practices and maintain a comprehensive understanding Deloitte's leading edge tools and methodologies
- Reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of IT projects to address the key strategic and operational risks within our clients' projects
- Participating in meetings with key client stakeholders and drafting a range of varied client reports
- Contribute to a portfolio of client work
- Perform and assist with business development as required
