Work you'll do

As a Deloitte Consulting Retirement Provider Consultant in the Rewards practice of Deloitte's Human Capital group, you will help Retirement Service Providers gain competitive advantages and differentiate themselves in the areas of business strategy, sales and marketing, client service, product development, and business operations. You will also work in conjunction with other practitioners to on the following:

  • Analyzing and benchmarking client's existing products and services for market competitiveness, strengths, deficiencies and gaps
  • Develop differentiation strategies and improvement recommendations
  • Train clients on marketplace trends including conducting market research studies and developing white papers
  • Develop strategies for providers to increase their competitiveness through differentiation of products, processes, and/or services
  • Develop products and services for providers
  • Research marketplace to support project deliverables
  • Create detailed client deliverables that support findings and recommendations
  • Ability to reach out to Retirement Services network to gather trends

A part of Deloitte Consulting LLP, our Human Capital professionals work closely with clients around the world to develop effective and efficient people-centered solutions. Our team helps clients define their talent strategy and align it with their executive business vision using innovative strategic frameworks that enhance HR service delivery models, set the stage for continuously improving operational excellence, and reimagines the HR brand. Our consultants work collaboratively with clients to develop competitive rewards programs so that they can recruit and retain talent effectively. In addition to applying these skills in traditional settings, our consultants provide advisory services related to these issues in mergers and acquisitions, governance and risk management, enterprise cost reduction efforts, and other transformational business initiatives. Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ year of experience in the retirement plan industry
  • Willingness to travel at least 80%

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of retirement plan experience (DC, DB, NQ), preferably with more than one provider organization
  • Successful marketing ability in selling services to prospects and existing clients
  • Has an understanding of trends in the Retirement Services Marketplace
  • Ability to work in a team environment – sharing ideas and working collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Visio, Access, and Microsoft project a plus
