About our team
Our Restructuring and Turnaround team is a growing part of Deloitte Restructuring Services (DRS), a national practice providing services to a wide variety of stakeholders such as board, management, equity and financiers in under-performing, disrupted and financially distressed situations. DRS combines expertise in operational restructuring, turnaround leadership, M&A, crisis management and debt and capital restructuring to deliver valuable restructuring advice and solutions to corporate and public sector clients.
The successful Senior Analyst candidate will have experience in financial advisory or strategy/operations consulting experience. You will also be able to demonstrate:
- A finance, accounting, economics or engineering background
- Related post-graduate qualification or currently studying (CA, CFA, MBA…)
- Previous experience working for or consulting to companies on matters of financial performance, financial management or operational improvement
- Exposure to distressed, underperforming businesses or turnaround situations
- Ability to analyse companies from a financial, operational, and industry perspective
- A desire to deliver exceptional client service
- The enthusiasm to work as part of a strong team
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our growing Restructuring and Turnaround team in Sydney. Our core activities include; financial and operational performance diagnosis, restructuring and turnaround planning and execution, stabilising operations and implementing changes to improve cash flow and deliver sustained profit improvement.
- Deliver on complex engagements from middle market to large global corporates
- Be exposed to a large and diverse range of clients and industries
- Collaborate in service delivery with partners across Australia’s broadest professional services offering.
