Records Management Support

Work you'll do

As a Project Delivery Analyst in the Forensics and Investigations group you will:

  • Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices
  • Lead and support tasks and portions of the project scope on engagements related but not limited to Operations & Maintenance, Helpdesk Operations, Software and Application Development and Maintenance, Financial Operations, and Project and Acquisition Management
  • Perform analysis and diagnosis of client issues
  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of the client environment and overall project scope
  • Identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and judgment
  • Independently perform tasks with some guidance to execute a portion of the project scope
  • Consult on archival support to include such areas as permanent records, historical documentation, and long-term recordkeeping initiatives.
  • Drafting an initial Enterprise Records Management Plan to support in the coordination, revision, and implementation of a records management program. Preparing and reviewing written materials, to include: records management instructions, guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assisting with the drafting records management procedures and practices, for the Records Officer's review and approval.
  • Creating and maintaining records transfers, retiring of records, reference requests, file management plans, technical requirements, and performance measures.
  • Processing records transfers, retrievals, and disposal requests.
  • Preparing responses to allegations of records management non-compliance and inquiries. Performing daily operational support activities for records management to include: Developing records management materials, spreadsheets or presentations to execute daily operations. Maintaining Records SharePoint site(s). Managing records management portion of Clearance process tracking all records deliverables in provided government tool.
  • Monitoring and coordinating records management compliance in keeping with all legal provisions as they may apply.
  • Preparing briefings (PowerPoint format) on record management, audits, assessments, and other related subjects.
  • Developing, reviewing, maintaining and updating records management compliance checklists.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Typically has 1 or more years of consulting and/or industry experience
  • Ability to work independently under general guidance
  • Experience working in teams and in a team environment that is process-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
  • Relevant software or application skills to complete job successfully
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Atleast five (5) years of Records and Information Management experience in the governmental or non-governmental sector, including experience in the formulation and application of both paper and electronic records management policies, guidelines, and procedures.
