Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Specialist, Technology, Systems Integration, Systems Development in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Working independently without continuous oversight or direction of a Manager, function as integrator between business needs and technology by creating solutions to meet clients' business requirements. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype and test custom technology solutions and support system implementations. Deliver components of client engagements that identify, design and implement Anthem WellPoint Group System (WGS) solutions for large companies with a focus on system optimization. Draft technical and functional design documentation to inform accurate work plans. Perform current state system analysis, mapping and design and define ideal future state of IT infrastructure. Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for client engagements. Perform WGS system development and implementation using Java technologies, UNIX OS, SAP Business Objects (BO) and IBM tools, including IBM Initiate Master Data Service (MDS). Design, develop and maintain web and enterprise applications in Java/J2EE using Java Server Faces (JSF), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), JavaScript and JQuery. Work in Spring Representational State Transfer (REST) Web services and Hibernate to implement and integrate back-end server applications. Create dynamic web applications, forms and templates as well as rich user interfaces in HTML with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) utilizing J2EE, JavaScript, Java Server Pages (JSP), Servlets and AJAX controls for reduced data transfer to servers. Define, automate build and deploy web applications using web application servers including WebSphere Application Server or WebLogic. Maintain source code with version control tools including IBM Clear Case and Subversion SVN. Perform build and deployment activities in various integration environments using Build Forge Tool. Conduct end-to-end unit, functional, integration, regression and user-acceptance (UA) testing of the application by writing and executing test scripts in JUnit, performing code review and deploying Java IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) to debug Java-based programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Applications, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
  • Two years of experience providing IT consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have two years of experience with:
    • Designing, developing and maintaining enterprise applications in Java/J2EE using JSF, JSON, JavaScript and JQuery;
    • Working in Spring REST Web services and Hibernate to implement and integrate back-end server applications;
    • Creating dynamic web applications, forms and templates as well as rich user interfaces in HTML with CSS utilizing J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets and AJAX controls for reduced data transfer to servers;
    • Defining, automating build and deploying web applications using web application servers including WebSphere Application Server or WebLogic;
    • Maintaining source code with version control tools including IBM Clear Case and Subversion SVN;
    • Performing build and deployment activities in various integration environments using Build Forge Tool;

  • 80% travel required.
