Deloitte Pension Benefits Specialist professionals focus on assisting clients in defining benefit administration solution and serve as the primary contact on actuarially related tasks, while researching, drafting and organizing deliverables.

To qualify for our Pension Benefits Specialist role, you should possess the following:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of defined benefit pension experience
  • Experience in interpreting defined benefit (DB) plan provisions
  • Ability to research plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and participant history
  • Experience calculating pension benefits
  • Ability to draft benefit determinations
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of IRC and ERISA
  • Strong general financial and data analysis skills
  • Support actuarially related tasks
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated team-building abilities
  • Creativity, self-confidence and flexibility
  • Must be willing to live and work in the Orlando, FL are
  • Willingness to travel up to 10 percent
