Marketing & Communications Specialist SHINE Campus Hire Rotational Program - Winter 2017
We’re looking for a creative project manager with exceptional organizational skills to help support the end-to-end execution and delivery of market development campaigns through our rotational campus hire program, SHINE (Specialist Hire Integrate Network and Educate). If you thrive in fast-paced environments, have strong attention to detail, and are committed to establishing tangible business and brand objectives, then you may be the right fit for our Market Development (MD) team. As full time Marketing & Communications Specialist roles become open within MD, there will be an opportunity to transition from the SHINE program to a specific team after 9-12 months in the program.
Work you’ll do
As a Marketing & Communications Specialist, you’ll act as a key point person between Industry, Account, Function, Regional, and Federal managers and join them in differentiating the Deloitte brand, driving Deloitte’s business priorities forward, innovating new marketing solutions, and delivering distinct client experiences. In this role, you’ll also facilitate market targeting activities through orchestrating social media campaigns, supporting business expansion initiatives, developing promotional marketing materials and sales tools, supporting internal and externals communications teams and managing major promotional events such as trade shows, industry speaking events, sponsorships, and internal conferences related to key industry clients. You’ll use your exceptional organizational skills to develop timelines and work with diverse groups of locally and virtually based professionals.
Our Market Development team provides exceptional client service and works to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. Our team members focus on what’s possible and guide clients to opportunities while taking into account their business culture, organizational structure, resources and capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
- Strong academic track record (minimum of 3.2 GPA)
- Work experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Business Development, including internships desired
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proven experience with collaborative writing processes, a variety of corporate communication styles, and knowledge of the editorial process
- Strong project and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team in a professional services or multi-departmental company
