Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Technology, TS&A, IT M&A in Houston, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Manage team in performing research, IT financial analysis and modeling in advance of an acquisition in order to identify risks and synergy opportunities associated with a Target company's organization, technology capabilities, processes, applications, and infrastructure. Oversee teams providing IT consulting services to clients in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) industry. Under general direction, responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects. Provide a single point of contact for those projects. Lead team in the development and execution of IT applications and infrastructure transition and approach for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures between companies. Take projects from original concept through final implementation. Define project scope and objectives. Support the implementation of a central program management function for IT processes, structure, methods, and tools to oversee the execution of divestiture and integration programs. Oversee the development of data center strategy, specializing in data center optimization, migration and consolidation, and disaster recovery planning and execution. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables. Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Contribute to firm's growth and development. Manage the development of integration strategy by creating IT blueprint for the merged entity, project charters for proposed initiatives to capture synergy, and associated roadmap, using IT Application Rationalization blueprint. Oversee team in conducting end-to-end contract analysis and separation of contracts for high spend strategic global software vendors, including leading stranded cost analysis and assessment of cost reduction opportunities, using IT Cost Reduction Framework. Lead the development of IT integrations and divestiture strategies involving Exchange, MS Lync and Active Directory migrations, workstation domains, and end user computing migrations, using M&A IT Methodology and Framework. Supervise team's collaboration with the client and technology vendors to design and execute the enterprise and solution architecture, using TOGAF framework, Agile Methodology, and MS Project. Manage team in gathering and analyzing data to advise clients on the use of emerging technology solutions, including Cloud Computing, Mobility, and Analytics for the TMT industry. Lead team analyzing multiple segmentation methodologies, including Recency, Frequency, Monetary (RFM), Second Lifetime Value (SLTV), and Cluster Analysis, using R and IBM SSPS to identify and target high value customers. Support and guide team members conducting business requirements analysis and designing functional and technical documents for technology systems, using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and Analytical Services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering (any), Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience providing IT consulting services to clients in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) industry on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have five years of experience with:
  • Developing integration strategy by creating IT blueprint for the merged entity, project charters for proposed initiatives to capture synergy, and associated roadmap, using IT Application Rationalization blueprint;
  • Conducting end-to-end contract analysis and separation of contracts for high spend strategic global software vendors, including leading stranded cost analysis and assessment of cost reduction opportunities, using IT Cost Reduction Framework;
  • Developing IT integrations and divestiture strategies involving Exchange, MS Lync and Active Directory migrations, workstation domains, and end user computing migrations, using M&A IT Methodology and Framework;

  • In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in a stated field plus three years of experience.
  • 80% travel required.
