Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Technology, Systems Integration, Program Management, Functional & Test in Atlanta, GA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Develop software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance. Determine system performance standards. Deliver and deploy custom developed applications for clients, including prototyping, code development, modularization, unit testing, performance testing, configuration and defect management, and production deployment. Utilizing COBOL Mainframe, C#, .Net, and JAVA to perform phases of the SDLC including, requirements gathering, conducting design sessions with stakeholders, software code development, user acceptance testing, implementation for large scale application development, and systems implementation. Defining business needs and requirements, current state assessments, future state roadmaps, business process reengineering, risk assessment, dashboard creation, training and change management using Atlassian JIRA, DOORS, RTC, Microsoft Visio, and Tableau. Deliver components of client engagements that identify, design and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. Create project deliverables including, requirement traceability matrix, project management plan, cross functional-technical specifications, design documents, quality management plan, implementation plan, and warranty reports using Microsoft project and JIRA. Identify business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training and defining support procedures. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform application and software life cycle management utilizing Atlassian JIRA, JAMA, Tableau, eRoom, Bundl, QMF, Spufi, Endeavor, Arozs, Platinum, Sharepoint, MS Visio, IBM SPSS Modeler, Talend open Studio, DOORS, RTC and Fault analyzer. Perform full system development life cycle implementations. Perform business process analysis, mapping and design. Analyze and perform current state system analysis. Performing continuous process improvement techniques including process mapping, process flowcharting, cause & effect diagrams, Pareto analysis, check sheets, and SWOT analysis to audit existing processes and create new processes. Perform conceptual and technical designs including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Perform project management, status tracking, and maintaining project schedules utilizing MS Project, and PMC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, MIS, CIS or a related field.
  • Five years of experience providing IT consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have five years of experience with:
  • Utilizing COBOL Mainframe, C#, .Net, and JAVA to perform phases of the SDLC including, requirements gathering, conducting design sessions with stakeholders, software code development, user acceptance testing, implementation for large scale application development, and systems implementation;
  • Performing application and software life cycle management utilizing Atlassian JIRA, JAMA, Tableau, eRoom, Bundl, QMF, Spufi, Endeavor, Arozs, Platinum, Sharepoint, MS Visio, IBM SPSS Modeler, Talend open Studio, DOORS, RTC and Fault analyzer;
  • Performing project management, status tracking, and maintaining project schedules utilizing MS Project, and PMC;

  • In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree in a stated field plus three years of experience.
  • 80% travel required.
