Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Technology, Monitor Deloitte Strategy, Cloud & Infrastructure in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team. Manage technology assessments and develop strategic recommendations. Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. Guide clients through the case for change through implementation across all dimensions of cloud, including business alignment, technology architecture and design, cloud application on-boarding, and transforming the operating model, to help resolve complex issues. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients and organize and lead pursuit teams. Define project scope and objectives, and conduct project meetings. Manage project tracking and analysis. Manage teams providing IT consulting services to clients in the Technology, Telecommunications, and Life Sciences industries. Responsible for all aspects of implementation and development of assigned projects. Take projects from original concept through final implementation. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Manage integrated, cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive strategies that enable Cloud & Infrastructure transformations, through design, development, and operations of complex technology environments and strategic cloud integration platforms. Serve as a single point of contact for client and internal leadership for those projects. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Review project deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards. Manage team responsible for leveraging SDLC methodology and tools, including MS Project, Visio, ALM HP Quality Center, and JIRA, to develop and implement execution playbooks and plans in support of Day 1 and post-Day 1 M&A IT integrations and divestitures involving end user computing infrastructure, including Asset Management, Firewall Management, Windows Deployment, Mobility, Printing, Virtual Desktops, and Unified Communication. Oversee and guide team developing IT Shared Services and Outsourcing strategy by conducting process costs analysis using Activity-Cased Costing Methodology, and by conducting activity cluster and regression analysis to analyze patterns, using ITIL framework, Tableau, and SQL. Lead the development of IT Cost Reduction strategies, business cases, and execution plans by assessing IT vendor consolidation, application portfolio rationalization, and infrastructure rationalization, using MS Excel, VBA, Access, and SQL. Supervise and manage team developing IT Operating models leveraging expertise in IT financial management, defining the IT services catalog based on ITIL framework, performing total cost of ownership of IT services to develop financial transparency into IT operations, developing Showback and Chargeback methodologies by analyzing business general ledger and financial planning processes, and implementing chargebacks in ledger systems leveraging APPTio. Oversee the assessment of datacenter consolidation, optimization strategies, and operation cost drivers through cost benefit analysis of key target datacenter options, including greenfield, colocation, and cloud, and providing financial projections of CapEx and OpEx costs, utilizing Business Synergy Planning, IT Value Management, IT Total Cost of Ownership, Discounted Cash Flow, and Net Realizable Asset Value. Manage teams creating future state IT strategy and implementation roadmaps to improve IT Business Alignment, by conducting C-Suite level workshops, assessing current business and IT capabilities, and developing Business Capability Maps, Business Architecture IT Capabilities Maps, and Application Landscapes, and leveraging Enterprise Architectures, The Open Group Architecture Forum (TOGAF), and IT Service Management (ITSM) methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any) or a related field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience providing IT consulting services to clients in the Technology, Telecommunications, and Life Sciences industries on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have five years of experience with:
  • Leveraging SDLC methodology and tools, including MS Project, Visio, ALM HP Quality Center, and JIRA, to develop and implement execution playbooks and plans in support of Day 1 and post-Day 1 M&A IT integrations and divestitures involving end user computing infrastructure, including Asset Management, Firewall Management, Windows Deployment, Mobility, Printing, Virtual Desktops, and Unified Communication;

  • 80% travel required.
