Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Strategy & Operations, Supply Chain & Manufacturing Operations, in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Lead and deliver components of large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for clients. Provide service excellence by recognizing key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement. Oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day client relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Participate in development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. Develop, maintain, and grow client relationships and lead projects from planning through execution. Engage with leadership team in development of proposals for business expansion activities. Effectively lead and manage a team of professionals and provide constant feedback and coaching. Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of client's business strategy for operational plans by optimizing routes and networks of client's current state of operations by utilizing LIamasoft and Infor's Transportation Planning. Oversee a wide variety of supply chain projects related to demand planning, forecast and replenishment, manufacturing, integration of system design, and maintainability. Conduct an overall assessment of cost savings within a transportation division that includes inbound and outbound transportation. Lead development of complex transportation and logistics process maps of the current and future state operations to improve business operations using MS Visio. Manage the development of analytical models to compare cost and benefits and calculate the value of recommendations in order maximize effectiveness and reduce enterprise costs. Guide team of consultants in conducting business process analysis, defining requirements, and developing functional and non-functional specifications. Manage subordinates in conducting industry research and analysis utilizing ISI Emerging Markets, Gartner, and Forrester data to develop benchmarks and best practices. Advise executive team on strategic business model transformations, cross-functional strategy, and change of management by employing supply chain methodologies. Participate in the development of proposals, Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, including defining requirements, supplier demonstrations, and developing business case documents utilizing BravoSolution tool.

#LI-DINIRequirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistic or related field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience providing consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting firm.
  • Must have five years of experience with:
  • Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of client's business strategy for operational plans by optimizing routes and networks of client's current state of operations by utilizing LIamasoft and Infor's Transportation Planning;
  • Overseeing a wide variety of supply chain projects related to demand planning, forecast and replenishment, manufacturing, integration of system design, and maintainability;
  • Conducting an overall assessment of cost savings within a transportation division that includes inbound and outbound transportation;

  • In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in a stated field and three years of experience.
  • 80% travel required.
