Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Strategy & Operations, Operation Transformation in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Support team in providing consulting services to clients. Responsible for the overall development, implementation and progress of strategic business targets. Support business development team which evaluates, analyzes, and formulates strategies for business growth. Deliver complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement transformations, drive creative shared services business solutions for leading companies. Participate in the planning and preparation of business proposals and make recommendations to management. Execute end-to-end sourcing cycles, including the creation and presentation of business cases and Request for Proposals, negotiation of contracts and Statements of Work, finalizing financial terms and conditions, and provide ongoing management of the vendor relationship. Deliver projects and support project management office (PMO) by defining standards, processes, and templates using MS Project, MS Visio, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Conduct service quality assessment and risk management to meet established service levels savings targets and KPIs. Conduct detailed financial analysis for transformational programs, create business case models and project savings and NPV using MS Excel. Perform assessment of client's technology stack, including IT strategy, infrastructure, applications, and end user services and identify IT capabilities for outsourcing, shared services or GBS activities. Perform assessment of existing operating model, identify challenges and propose organizational design, organization sizing, interaction models and IT capability map. Support the team in establishing industry leading GBS modules using Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process within the scope of the engagement. Review strategic information technology (IT) operations assessments for sourcing and business model transformation initiatives. Utilize Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) Logs to track and mitigate risks. Define strategic roadmaps for IT organizations and guiding the transition to ensure steady state operations post-transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, Engineering (any), Management or related field.
  • Must have five years of progressively responsible experience providing consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have five years of experience with:
  • Delivering projects and supporting project management office (PMO) by defining standards, processes, and templates using MS Project, MS Visio, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
  • Conducting service quality assessment and risk management to meet established service levels savings targets and KPIs;
  • Conducting detailed financial analysis for transformational programs, create business case models and project savings and NPV using MS Excel;
  • Performing assessment of client's technology stack, including IT strategy, infrastructure, applications, and end user services and identify IT capabilities for outsourcing, shared services or GBS activities;
  • Performing assessment of existing operating model, identify challenges and propose organizational design, organization sizing, interaction models and IT capability map;
  • Supporting the team in establishing industry leading GBS modules using Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process within the scope of the engagement;
  • Reviewing strategic information technology (IT) operations assessments for sourcing and business model transformation initiatives;
  • Utilizing Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) Logs to track and mitigate risks; and
  • Defining strategic roadmaps for IT organizations and guiding the transition to ensure steady state operations post-transformation.
  • In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree in a stated field plus three years of experience.
  • Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
  • 80% travel required.
