Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Strategy & Operations, Business Model Transformation (BMT) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. Provide service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement. Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. Manage teams in utilizing Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes to establish managed services support models, processes, technology, and tools within the scope of the engagement. Establish alternative delivery and costing models for IT application support. Manage strategic information technology (IT) operations assessments for sourcing and business model transformation initiatives. Lead end-to-end sourcing cycles, including the creation and presentation of business cases and Request for Proposals, negotiation of contracts and Statements of Work, finalizing financial terms and conditions, and provide ongoing management of the vendor relationship. Determining the performance of current IT functions across various metrics including cost, scope and service levels to identify gaps and inefficiencies and define the path for improvement. Direct teams in the assessment and development of transition quality gates, success criteria, comprehensive governance models, and reporting frameworks for large transitions. Direct operational and financial due diligence operations to identify cost saving opportunities and risks. Utilize Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) Logs to track and mitigate risks. Utilize C-Suite communications to define strategic roadmaps for IT organizations, and guide the transition to ensure steady state operations post-transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience providing Support and Transformation consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
  • Must have five years of experience with:
  • Managing teams in utilizing ITIL processes to establish managed services support models, IT processes, technology, and tools within the scope of the engagement;
  • Developing alternative delivery and costing models for IT application support;
  • Managing strategic IT operations assessments for sourcing and business model transformation initiatives, and application modernization;
  • Leading end-to-end sourcing cycles, including the creation and presentation of business cases and Request for Proposals, negotiation of contracts and Statements of Work, finalizing financial terms and conditions, and providing ongoing management of the vendor relationship;
  • Analyzing the performance of current IT and business functions across various metrics including cost, scope and service levels to identify gaps and inefficiencies and define the path for improvement;
  • Directing teams in the assessment and development of transition quality gates, success criteria, comprehensive governance models, and reporting frameworks for large transitions;
  • Directing operational and financial due diligence operations to identify cost saving opportunities and risks;
  • Utilizing RAID logs to track and mitigate risks; and
  • Utilizing C-Suite communications to define strategic roadmaps for IT organizations, and guiding the transition to ensure steady state operations post-transformation.
  • In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in a stated field plus three years of progressively responsible experience.
  • 80% travel required.
