Work you'll do

You'll use your digital expertise to create unique solutions for each client. You won't work alone. You'll work alongside smart, dynamic colleagues. As an IoT Software Engineer you will be an important part of our project teams and you will directly contribute to and influence the ultimate client outcomes we care so much about. Your development work will allow business assets (engines, factory equipment, trains, etc.), sensors, platforms, applications, and more to communicate with one another and drive action.

Qualifications (required)

  • 2+ years of experience building software applications using Java, C, or .NET
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field or equivalent number of years of experience
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other)
  • Comfortable with version control
  • Ability and willingness to innovate and learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to travel to client sites 80-100% of the time
  • Resident of San Francisco, Dallas, or Chicago

Qualifications (preferred)

  • 2+ years Cloud Foundry experience
  • 1+ year of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure experience
  • Manufacturing, Energy, Life Sciences, Health Care, or Smart Cities experience
  • Experience with PTC ThingWorx and/or GE Predix
