Enterprise Risk Management Manager

Work you'll do

As a Manager within our practice you will:

  • Advise clients and enhance their strategic risk awareness in the areas of enterprise risk management, geospatial analytics, crisis management and grants management

Manage use of technology-based risk assessment tools or methodologies to review, design and implement solutions

  • Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects

  • Actively participate in the development of business and vendor relationships

  • Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process

  • Responsible for project(s) financials including development of financial plans

  • Manage day-to-day interactions with clients and internal Deloitte team

  • Display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues

  • Display leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions

  • Provide counseling/coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff

  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process

    Our Strategic Risk Team provides analysis and assessment of critical risk factors that can impact our Federal client's operations and overall environment. We help our clients navigate these complex risk factors in the areas of enterprise risk management, geospatial analytics, crisis management, and grants management.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Geography, Geospatial Intelligence or related field

    • 4+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas - risk management, geospatial analytics, crisis management, or grants management

    • 2+ years in a technical or functional lead role

    • Experience with Risk Management tools, ERM Program Implementation, ERM Risk Management Process

    • Experience mentoring and coaching others

    • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

    • Experience managing senior-level client relationships

    • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)

    • Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role

    Preferred:

    • Graduate degree

    • One of more relevant certifications
