Work you'll do

Deloitte's managed review team assists organizations and their legal counsel by helping to improve the overall document review process, whether by managing Deloitte review attorneys, outside counsel, or attorneys from other document review providers. Our focus is on streamlining the review, improving accuracy, and creating cost savings through leading practices and workflows such as pre-and post-processing data culling, the use of predictive coding and other analytics, and providing real-time reporting.

In addition, as part of a managed review, our experienced team of attorneys and analytics professionals can provide consultative support to outside counsel regarding quality control work flows, privilege logs, document chronologies and synopses, and assistance with deposition and trial preparation.

A Document Review Project Associate will deliver managed review services to world class clients. Responsibilities include designing the scope of work for various engagements while compiling, analyzing, and documenting facts for matters under investigation or currently in litigation. Responsible for engagement administration: data entry, tracking, records management, document review, and coordinating client logistics. Conducts quality control, privilege log review, drafting of reports, and preparation of tables, exhibits, and charts. Researches market issues and identifies market opportunities. Communicates effectively to all levels of engagement management and clients while balancing multiple projects and responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors' degree, JD required and a good standing license that is non-practicing within at least 1 US State
  • 2+ years of technical experience in Litigation/Discovery
  • Must be flexible with the travel requirements of client service projects
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of litigation management software: Concordance, Introspect, and Summation
  • Demonstrated ability to provide document review services and/or collection services for multiple cases simultaneously
  • Ability to analyze legal documentation from a litigation perspective
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
  • Project based position
