Deloitte, Assistant Manager, Forensic Technology and eDiscovery, London

Role description

As a technical practitioner within the field of Computer Forensics and eDiscovery, this is your opportunity to become a part of a thriving, industry leading Forensic Technology team. As a multinational organisation we can offer you the breadth and depth of experience you are looking for. We can provide you with access to state of the art technology, labs and the opportunity to work with clients on high-impact matters, both in the UK and abroad.

Today's highly complex investigation and litigation environments continue to present challenges to the eDiscovery practitioner. For example, the data explosion, cloud and pervasiveness of computing will demand you to continually craft and adapt bespoke solutions for our clients. Often we need to go 'above and beyond' the technologies and techniques that are readily available in the Forensic Technology marketplace. As an Assistant Manager within our team, you will actively seek to meet such challenges with energy, creativity and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

As a practitioner with considerable experience in the field, you will already have deep knowledge across the lifecycle of eDiscovery engagements. You will be responsible in assisting the Management team with leading the execution of a wide range of technical activities including:

  • The preservation and extraction of digital evidence from computers, servers, mobile devices and media.
  • Data mining vast quantities of evidence using the latest forensic tools
  • Computer Forensic and Cyber Forensic analysis
  • Voice analytics
  • Document review management, utilising visualisation and analytical techniques including technology assisted review

As a part of a highly-experienced team you will work on multiple engagements simultaneously. The role will require you to apply your deep technical knowledge, but also to use verbal and written skills. You will need to manage your own workload as well as that of the less-experienced team members assigned to your projects.

You will be working directly with clients on time-critical, high impact corporate investigations and disputes all within a team with a genuine sense of camaraderie and collaboration.

As a leading multinational organisation, our approach to rewarding people is based on a simple belief. High performance – whatever your level - deserves to be rewarded. In addition to providing extensive training opportunities, a competitive salary, pension and flexible benefits, you will also have access to employee discounts.
