DEEP 2017 - Summer Internship Program

Program Overview

The Deloitte Exclusive Experience Program (DEEP) provides Cayman students with an introduction to the professional services industry and also opportunities to work on projects across the firm. You will be immersed into Deloitte’s vibrant and diverse organization and have the opportunity to work with people who are forward thinking and committed to making an impact that matters.

Deloitte Purpose

To make an impact that matters for our clients, our people and society – defines who we are and what we stand for. Our purpose provides the foundation for our strategy and our aspiration to be the undisputed leader in professional services: this is not about size, it’s about being the first choice. The first choice for the largest and most influential clients, and the first choice for the best talent.

This purpose defines who we are and extends to relationships with our clients, our people and our communities. We drive impact through our programs, focusing on education, giving, volunteerism including our annual IMPACT Day, and leadership to help drive positive social impact in our community.

What you’ll do

DEEP is a structured 6-week program with planned learning activities – you will get in-depth exposure and learn more about the day-to-day responsibilities of our professionals in Audit and/or Tax Services. You will receive guidance and work closely with team members of all levels while your mentor serves as a vital source of information and feedback on your work and performance.

How you’ll grow

During your internship, you will sharpen your analytical skills as you work through various projects and assignments. You will work with team members and fellow interns to apply the concepts you learn and share your key learning moments through written report and group presentation.

DEEP also includes a Charity Day for interns and their mentors to give back to the Cayman community!

How to apply

Please ensure you attach your CV/resume along with a copy or screen shot of your current grades/transcripts for consideration. You must submit your grades to be considered for the program.

Application tips

We want internship seekers to feel prepared and confident. To help you with your interview, we encourage you to do research: know some background about our organization and the business area you are interested in. We also suggest you practice your interviewing skills and how to discuss your academic and work experience with a family member, friend or mentor.
