Data Analytics Manager
The Risk and Data Analytics landscape is diverse, innovative and constantly changing.
The Risk Analytics team seeks a passionate and innovative Manager to join our team in Auckland. Risk Analytics sits within the wider Risk Advisory business and includes Forensic, Cyber, Health and Safety and Controls Transformation and Assurance. The team uses industry leading analytics and visualisation technology to support our clients operating in a range of industries.
Your role as Manager is to lead a team of highly regarded data analysts in the delivery of successful projects on time and to budget using leading tools and techniques. This is an exciting space with engagements ranging from complex fraud investigations, inappropriate workplace activity, misconduct investigations and assurance, as well as helping businesses to drive efficiencies and identify important business insights. The team pride themselves on using innovative approaches to solve complex and challenging problems.
Key to your success within Risk Analytics is your technical expertise coupled with your ‘people skills’ and ability to engage with your peers, the wider business and our clients. You will pride yourself on providing the same high quality service that is expected and delivered from one of New Zealand’s largest and most respected professional services firms. Ideally you will also have a good track record of mentoring junior team members.
Technically we are looking for skills in the following areas:
- 5+ years working in data analytics
- Highly experienced in querying, manipulating, analysing and interpreting data
- Exceptional problem solving ability
- Proven ability to manage risk and quality on data projects
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects at once
- A degree in statistics would be well regarded
