About the Job

To supports Engagement Manager in delivery of services to / at client premises on delegated engagement / project.

  • Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years working experience
  • Hardware provisioning (firmware upgrades)
  • Server Operating system installations and provisioning
  • Network administration
  • SAN storage configuration and administration
  • Fiber switch configuration
  • Linux & Unix administration skills
  • 3 years working experience
  • 3 years in a client facing role
  • SAP Basis Administration
  • SAP PI, SAP Business Objects
  • SAP HANA Administration

Key Performance areas

  1. Strategic Impact
  • Supports the Engagement Manager in delivery of engagement / project, in specific area of competency
  • Raises issues with manager as identified in area of focus that may affect the quality of delivery or timelines of the engagement
  • Identifies opportunities for follow-on work and works with management to win the business
  • Assists in development of client presentations / discussion documentation
  • Actively builds business relationships that generate leads
  • Gathers information to understand broader offerings of Deloitte and seeks opportunities for cross-selling
  • Raises solutions to address issues in area of expertise that may enhance / renew service offerings to client

  • Communicates regularly with both Engagement Manager and client to meet deliverable expectations in specific area of expertise
  • Develops productive working relationships with client staff

  • Proactively identifies client needs and problems on technical issues that arise and propose resolutions to address these
  • Manages risk in area of engagement in alignment with Deloitte policies
  • Consistently reviews and analyses accuracy and quality of own deliverables
