We also team with other Deloitte services, such as technology consulting, human capital consulting, and enterprise risk services, to address the many facets of Sourcing and Procurement and eProcurement technology related engagements.

Work you'll do

Along with dynamic colleagues, you will help companies develop, implement, and operationalize multichannel customer interaction capabilities for both external and internal customer-facing operations. As a Consultant, you will have a role in participating in the project delivery and implementation of Sourcing & Procurement/eProcurement technology for large, complex client engagements. These client projects identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies.

Consultants function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, while gaining exposure to multiple industries and demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by Deloitte Consulting LLP. Consultant level responsibilities include: working both independently and in collaboration with a larger team approach and multiple team-tasks, provide service excellence by helping identifying client business issues, helping determining and defining client/project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating, and validating analysis and documentation. Consultants perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels. You will be expected to help implement the quality of deliverables within you work-stream, analyze information and data to help drive requirements and processes.

At Deloitte Consulting LLP, our Strategy & Operations practice provides a wide range of services across multiple industries and the entire value chain. As a member of this team, you'll work collaboratively with talented and innovative strategic thinkers on Supply Chain > Sourcing and Procurement /eProcurement client projects. You'll also use your knowledge and experience to help clients improve and enhance their global operations to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving business landscape.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree + a Minimum of 2 Years of Consulting Firm experience AND/OR related Industry experience is required.
  • Experience with e-Sourcing/Procurement implementations and/or related projects.
  • Experience with project delivery roles involving procurement technology packages such as Ariba, Oracle, or Coupa.
  • Experience with Procurement transformation including sourcing, P2P technologies, process mapping, and business process review.
  • Experience with some of the following: direct and indirect materials, strategy and operational procurement, requirements analysis, Source to Pay (S2P), Procure to Pay (P2P), demand management, and vendor/supplier management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, Excel, etc).
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Ability to travel 75-100% required.
